Booking & service
Do you come to me?

Yes — MR Detail is fully mobile. I bring the detail to your driveway, office lot, or wherever the car is parked, anywhere in Orange County.

Do you need my water or power?

No. I come fully self-contained with my own water and power, so all I need is a bit of space to work around the vehicle. No hose, no outlet, nothing on your end.

Do I have to be home the whole time?

Not the whole time. I just need access to the vehicle and a little room around it — we'll sort out keys and access when you book. Plenty of clients hand it over and come back to a finished car.

What areas do you cover?

All of Orange County, based out of North Tustin — Newport Beach, Irvine, Laguna, Coto de Caza, Tustin and everywhere between. Not sure if you're in range? Text me and ask.

On the day
How long does it take?

Depends on size and package: Maintenance runs about an hour, a Full Detail around 2–3 hours, and a Premium up to about four. You'll get a time window when you book.

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?

If it's not workable on the day, we'll simply find another time — no charge for moving it.

Can you do just the inside, or just the outside?

Yes. Maintenance and Full Detail both come as inside & out, exterior only, or interior only. Premium is the complete inside-and-out service only.

Pricing & payment
How does pricing work?

Straight from the menu — pick your vehicle size and package and that's the price. The estimate builder gives you a number in a few taps, add-ons included.

What if my car is really dirty?

Heavily soiled vehicles may be quoted up one tier on the day so the work matches the condition — I'll always tell you before I start, never after. Heavy pet hair and set-in stains are priced per job.

How do I pay?

We'll sort payment out when you book — just ask and I'll let you know the options.

Care & results
How often should I detail my car?

For most daily drivers, a maintenance wash every couple of weeks and a full detail a few times a year keeps it looking its best. There's more on this on the Detailing 101 page.

What's the difference between a sealant and a ceramic coating?

A sealant is a protective layer that makes water bead and the finish easier to keep clean — a spray sealant lasts weeks, the Gtechniq ceramic sealant add-on holds for months. A full multi-year ceramic coating is a bigger, separate job, available by quote.

Will detailing remove every scratch or stain?

Detailing makes a car genuinely clean and protected and lifts a lot — but some deep scratches or set-in stains need paint correction or may not fully come out. If something's borderline, send a photo first and I'll tell you straight what to expect.
